Acts Youth Leadership's success is dependent on volunteers like you.  There is an Acts YL Volunteer Opportunity for everyone! Depending on your interest, availability, skills and goals, we will find the best match for you!

As part of the volunteer team you will have the opportunity to impact and inspire youth to be bold for Christ.  You have the opportunity to raise the next chapter of community leaders, entrepreneurs and most importantly ambassadors for Christ.

Volunteer Expectations

  • Must support the mission and values of the ACTS Youth Leadership Conference.

  • Attend the appropriate orientation/training for their volunteer role. 

  • Wear appropriate clothing and identification for the duration of all shifts.

  • Work in an atmosphere of mutual respect and support.

  • Be comfortable with assigned tasks and ask for assistance if needed. 

  • Refuse work which feels unsafe, without fear of reprisal.

  • Complete all required paperwork and training (may include a free Vulnerable Sector Screening).

  • Be on time for all assigned shifts (a few minutes early is appreciated!).

  • Refrain from the use of cigarettes, alcohol, cannabis or illicit substances on-site.

  • Inform the Volunteer Program Director ASAP if they become unavailable for a shift. 

  • Address any immediate concerns to a Captain or Volunteer Program Leader.

As volunteers may interact with youth under age 18, a current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is required.

I confirm that the information provided is accurate and that I agree to uphold the values, policies, and expectations of the ACTS 2026 Youth Conference.


ADULT WAIVER

(for 18 years and older)

I hereby agree to be a volunteer for the Acts Youth Leadership if selected by the Acts Youth Leadership or its representatives. I understand that this is strictly a volunteer position involving no payment from the Acts Youth Leadership (either salary or reimbursement of expenses). As such I will not, by virtue of this volunteer position be considered an employee, contractor or agent of the Acts Youth Leadership. I understand that the Acts Youth Leadership or its representatives may remove me from this volunteer position at any time and for any reason, without notice or compensation. I understand and agree that all tasks I perform in this volunteer position will be undertaken by me voluntarily, and on the understanding that I WILL NOT HOLD THE Acts Youth Leadership LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, DAMAGE OR EXPENSE WHICH I MAY SUSTAIN DURING MY ACTIVITIES AS A VOLUNTEER.


PARENT/GUARDIAN WAIVER

(For youth 14-17 or adults with guardians)


Parent/Guardian must sign below


I understand that I am signing this form as the legal guardian of a prospective volunteer who does not have the legal capacity to sign forms on their own behalf. I am agreeing and warranting that I agree to have my child or ward participate as a volunteer of the Acts Youth Leadership Conference and that both I and the prospective volunteer will be bound by the terms and conditions.


I understand that the times my child or ward is scheduled to volunteer may change and that this is strictly a volunteer position involving no payment from the Acts Youth Leadership (either salary or reimbursement of expenses). As such my child or ward will not, by virtue of this volunteer position, be considered an employee, contractor or agent of the Acts Youth Leadership. I further understand that the Acts Youth Leadership or its representatives may remove my child or ward from this volunteer position at any time and for any reason, without notice or compensation.


I understand and agree that all tasks he/she performs in this volunteer position will be undertaken voluntarily, and on the understanding that NEITHER THEY NOR I WILL HOLD THE Acts Youth Leadership LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, DAMAGE OR EXPENSE WHICH MAY BE SUSTAINED DURING HIS/HER ACTIVITIES AS A VOLUNTEER.
