Mission & Vision
We are a faith based, youth focused organization that inspires and equips young people to be bold: GOING where God sends, SPEAKING the message He gives, and LEADING with courage. We pursue this mission through conferences, leadership training, mentoring, and other programs that cultivate passionate worship, purposeful development, and a strong faith-filled community.
We want to help raise up strong, Christian leaders who are inspired to make a difference in their communities.
For our inaugural conference our target is to equip 200 youth, ages 14-24.
Christian youth can struggle to find their place in today’s society. We don’t want them just to fit in, we want them to be a light wherever they go! We plan to give practical leadership training, skills, and tools that can inspire them to create spaces and connections so they can be leaders for Christ.
What to Expect
Skills Development
This conference will have top-notch speakers and workshop facilitators who will share their own stories and provide you with practical leadership and entrepreneurship training.
Spiritual Encouragement
Above all else, we desire that you feel inspired to glorify God wherever you go. We will provide opportunities for times of corporate praise and worship, along with having prayer partners on-site and ready to chat with you as needed.
Community Growth
Leadership means interacting in meaningful ways with those around you. It may feel uncomfortable at times, but we want to encourage you to step out of your comfort zone- meet new people, collaborate with your team, and stay connected even after the conference is over.
How To Get Involved
Our desire is that this entire endeavour is God honouring and youth inspiring. Please pray for wisdom, open doors, and impacted lives.
Leadership takes many forms, some are highly visible, some are behind the scenes. We are looking for people who are willing to help out with some planning, set-up and tear-down, supervision, prayer, hospitality help, and advertising/inviting to get youth to the conference.
Creating something that impacts society takes working together and so we are looking for businesses and individuals who can partner with us in various ways. We have space for Christian businesses, entrepreneurs, and leaders to speak to the youth and provide insight about what it means to be a light for Christ in the world around them. We are also looking for people to provide some mentorship for the Youth we are reaching.
Projects take resources. We are a brand new, grass-roots organization that relies on donations to make this conference run. Our board is composed of volunteers. To bring in amazing speakers, give great resources and prizes, and provide delicious food, we are looking at approximately a $40,000 budget. We would love your help meeting this goal either through fundraising help or a financial or in kind donation.

I don't know anyone else going, can I still come?
YES! Our heart's desire is to build a community of leaders - our desire is that whether you come by yourself or with a group, you will be inspired to make authentic connections with people around you.
What about lodging and food?
For our first conference, we are encouraging people to secure their own lodging, or travel back and forth from their home. There are several hotels within a relatively close area. As we grow the conference, we may look into hosting the event at a hotel or retreat centre that will allow us to provide lodging.
We will be serving lunch on Saturday and Sunday, along with snacks and drinks throughout the day.

We are a grassroots project, so donations of time, finances, or supplies is greatly appreciated! We have lots of ways for you to be involved.

At this time, donations are not eligible for a tax deductible receipt.
Is there a group discount?
We are striving to make this event as cost-effective as possible. At this time, everyone's ticket is the same price. If cost is an issue, please reach out and we may have some sponsored spots available on a first-come/needs basis.
If our church sends our youth group, will you try and get them to come to your church?
Absolutely not! Our heart is for Christ-centered youth to grow as leaders wherever God calls them—in your church, your community, and your schools.
Acts YL is here to partner with you, not compete.
We’re also not tied to any one church. Our mission is to bring Christians together and build a strong community that empowers youth to shine as a light for Christ.
Your youth belong with you—we’re just here to support and encourage them along the way.
What church is this conference affiliated with?
Acts Youth Leadership Inc. was started by three women who met at an evangelical Christian church, but Acts YL itself isn’t affiliated with any specific church.
Our goal is to equip youth and young adults with leadership, business, and communication skills that can be used in many areas of life. We approach training from a Christian ethics perspective and include times of worship, prayer, and Bible engagement so youth can grow in their faith and be a light pointing others to Christ.
We love partnering with churches of all denominations to strengthen the next generation—your youth remain rooted in your church family while we come alongside to support and encourage them.
What if I don't go to church, can I still come to an Acts YL event?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to attend Acts Youth Leadership events even if you don’t go to church. Everyone is invited to learn, grow, and be part of the community. We just ask that all participants follow our Code of Conduct, which helps ensure a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment for everyone.
